EAS EnergySavers Award 2010 - Supported by Eaga -
Local energy-saving initiatives in Scotland can win £1,500 in the EAS EnergySavers Award.
Entries can be made by a range of groups including community and voluntary organisations, Energy Assistance Package registered installers, local authorities, housing associations, health bodies, and individuals or organisations involved in energy efficiency issues.
The Award is organised by charity Energy Action Scotland (EAS) and is supported for the ninth year by Eaga.

(e) How to develop effective programme management systems for neighbourhood renewal and sustainable communities programmes
(f) How to engage community groups in neighbourhood renewal and sustainable communities programmes

At these day long events a range of practitioners and trainers will give useful advice on the subject at hand. The cost per person for sessions is £175 plus VAT. All attendees receive a full training pack to support the training provided on the day. New Call for proposals by DG Employment (Progress Programme).
The call focuses on exchange of good practice in two fields, whereby especially the first may be of interest to you: "Improving the employment opportunities for young people". The second domain of the call is "Supporting good practices in providing training for new skills in green technologies". Possible activities include: workshops, seminars and round-tables, study visits, staff exchange, information campaigns, networks, small-scale studies etc.
