Maurice Strong - Former Secretary General of the 1992 Rio Earth Summit
Maurice Strong has played a unique and critical role is globalizing the environmental movement. Secretary General of both the 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, which launched the world environment movement, and the 1992 Rio Environmental Summit, he was the first Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Maurice is globally recognized as the doyen of the protection of the environment through the principle of sustainability and has received a number of honours, awards and medals for his "service to humankind and the planet". He has also received 53 honorary doctorate degrees and honorary Visiting Professorships at 7 universities.

Felix Dodds - Executive Director, Stakeholder Forum
Felix has played a critical role in promoting multi-stakeholder dialogue at the UN. From 1997 to 2001 he chaired the NGO Coalition on Sustainable Development at the UN. He facilitated the setting up of the international NGO Coalition for the UN Commission on Sustainable Development and the UN Habitat II Conference. He has been an advisor to the UK and Danish Governments and the European Commission at a number of UN meetings. He has published seven books, the latest edited with Andrew Higham and Richard Sherman is called Climate Change and Energy Insecurity, the previous one with Tim Pipard Human and Environmental Security brought out for the World Summit 2005 and was nominated as best environmental book of 2005. Felix has become a regular contributor to the BBC Green Room and other media outlets.

Belinda Miller - Specialist Advisor on Renewable Energy to the Department of UK Trade and Investment
Belinda Miller is currently a Specialist Advisor on Renewable Energy to the Department of UK Trade and Investment. She is on a secondment during 2010 from Aberdeen City Council, where she held the position of Head of Service for Economic and Environmental Sustainability
Belinda has worked since 1993 in the sustainable development profession with a particularly interest in climate change policy, energy management, procurement and waste strategy. She has also worked in the areas of European policy, trade and economic development, culture and leisure strategy and information and research. She was the official Scottish Local Government delegate to the World Summit for Sustainable Development in 2001. Originally from Ireland, Belinda has lived in Scotland since 1991.

Ruth Davis - Senior Policy Advisor to Greenpeace UK
Ruth Davis is Chief Policy Advisor for Greenpeace UK. She studied English as an undergraduate, but subsequently trained as a botanist, working at Kew Gardens. There she developed an interest in biodiversity and conservation, and went on to work for Plantlife - The Wild Plant Conservation Charity, helping them to establish the first comprehensive programme for wild plant protection and recovery in the UK.
During her time at Plantlife she worked extensively on water pollution and management issues, and subsequently joined the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds in their water policy unit, which she managed for several years. In 2007 she moved to take over the RSPB's campaigns on climate change. She chaired the NGO working group on the UK Climate Change Act, and initiated a range of work promoting sustainable renewable energy projects in the UK. She joined Greenpeace in February 2010, where she provides policy advice and support across the climate, forests and oceans programmes.
